Great nightgown! February 10, 2010 Joanna K. Laforte (Albuquerque, NM) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After reading the reviews on this site, I was a bit worried about ordering this gown because so many people indicated sizing issues but my gowns fit really well! The material is of high-quality and very soft. Plus, it's just the right "weight" for a pregnant/post-birth body - not too thin with enough structure to handle the extra curves. Also, I found the sizing to run quite true to their charts. Pre-pregnancy I generally wear a size 6 (135 lbs, 5' 7", 36C) but I've gained 45 lbs (mostly in my belly and boobs), so I'm wearing a size 8-10 maternity and 36E bra. I ordered the MEDIUM in black and cranberry (love the colors), since I wanted something to take me right from birth through the next 6-12 months. I'm only 2 weeks away from my due date and the gowns fit just fine over my super pregnant belly. (Yes, they're "tight" but not uncomfortably so - no pinching or anything. Just clingy.) And there was plenty of room for my breasts - not too tight, not too loose - with enough stretch to handle any extra growth when my milk comes in. While the gown doesn't provide much lift, the support feels more than adequate and nursing pads should fit just fine. Others also complained about the band being too loose under their breasts but it seemed perfectly sized to me and quite strong enough to handle the weight. Also, I don't think the slit is too high, which others have complained about; it's just high enough to make it easy to get up from lying down/sitting but it's not immodest. Others also mentioned the deep V of the gown and it's definitely more than you'd want around anyone other than your husband but that's to be expected of sleepwear. Perhaps order the robe if you want to wear this around visitors? (I'm thinking of getting it now that I know how comfortable the gowns are...)

This would be a great nightie, except that my breasts fall out of it! Thereby nullifying the "bra" part of the description. If you have a D cup or larger, I wouldn't bother purchasing this item. The owners of the company said that they have had similar complaints (but obviously aren't willing to change the design) and recommended getting it tailored--what every new mom has a lot of--TIME! HA!
Best night gown ever! December 31, 2009 J. Henry (Delaware) I purchased my first 2 Aimee nursing gowns when I was expecting since I planned to breast feed. I cannot tell you how great and useful these gowns proved to be for sleeping and breast feeding. Some nights I move around alot in my sleep and regular night gowns bunch and get twisted and I have to straighten them out throughout the night. With the Aimee gown, this was not the case. I can move freely and not feel constricted. Plus, the fabric is soft and the support added for the breasts is great. Even though I quit nursing over 6 months ago, I still wear my aimee gowns, which are very flattering and slimming. My sister commented on how much she like the gowns and I ended up buying her one for Xmas even though she's not pregnant and does not plan on having children anytime soon. I highly recommend these gowns whether or not your nursing.

This is a super flattering nightgown. I was a medium before I got pregnant, and I am rather large busted so I took other reviewers advice and purchased the large. It's a little roomy in the chest, but I'm only 5mos pregnant so I assume it will fit soon enough. The chest is definitely not modest, you need another shirt under it if you have company or something. The top is a little roomy for me still (currently a 36-38 large D cup)
Love the color. The top is still pretty supportive even though it's a bit roomy.
Very good November 22, 2009 C. G. Raines (Morgantown, WV) The first shipment got lost. But the vendor corrected the matter and sent out a new one right away. My wife is 20 weeks along and loves it. I must say it is an attractive garment. The material is soft and my wife says it supports her adequately. I scored some major brownie points with this one.
